About me
Dr Jones specialises in the management of all cardiac arrhythmias (heart rhythm disturbances) and his routine clinical practice includes catheter ablation (including AF, SVT and VT ablation), pacemaker and defibrillator implantation/follow-up (including cardiac resynchronisation therapy – CRT), and left atrial appendage occlusion procedures.
He read medicine at St Mary’s, obtaining BSc with 1st class honours in Cardiovascular Medicine 1997, followed by MBBS 2000. After graduation, he trained in internal medicine in London and Plymouth then in cardiology, electrophysiology and devices at Green Lane (Auckland, New Zealand), Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals. He is accredited by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) in both Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing/ICDs, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2017.
