About me

I am a BABCP and BACP accredited Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapist with over 15 years experience working in the NHS and private sector. I use evidence based interventions to treat and assess clients presenting with anxiety and depression related difficulties.

In addition, as Senior Lecturer, in Mental Health, I am passionate about providing accessible learning opportunities, promoting academic enquiry and the advancement of knowledge. My research interests include; veteran mental health, eating disorders and the use of third wave therapies to promote psychological well being.

I practice: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness.

I specialise in the treatment of: post traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, health anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, low self esteem, obsessive compulsive disorder, long term conditions, medically unexplained symptoms, binge eating disorder, bulimia.
