About me

I am a BABCP- and BACP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 20 years' experience working across NHS services, private practice and higher education. I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression and related difficulties, offering evidence-based therapy within a warm, collaborative and respectful therapeutic relationship.

Therapy is tailored to you and the goals that matter most to you. Together, we will develop a shared understanding of the difficulties you are experiencing and explore practical, manageable ways forward. Alongside traditional CBT, I may draw on values-based and mindfulness approaches where these may be helpful.

I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent adults, including autistic people and people with ADHD. I aim to provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy that recognises each person's strengths, experiences and individual needs.
Alongside my clinical practice,

I am a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health in Higher Education, helping to ensure that my clinical work remains informed by current evidence.

Please note that I offer all therapy appointments online via Zoom.

Areas of interest

I practise Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), values-based work and mindfulness-based approaches where appropriate.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, including generalised anxiety and health anxiety; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD); depression and low mood; low self-esteem; difficulties associated with long-term health conditions and persistent physical symptoms; binge-eating disorder; and bulimia nervosa.

I also have a particular interest in adapting therapy for neurodivergent adults, including autistic people and people with ADHD.
