Dr Sekhri has a broad experience in managing both inpatients and outpatients with all types of cardiovascular problems. She has specific expertise in managing patients with heart failure as well as inherited cardiomyopathies
She has also specialised in cardiac imaging with a focus on cardiac MRI which she performs at The Barts Heart Centre, The London Independent hospital and Chenies Mews. She also has extensive experience in Transthoracic and Trans Oesophageal Echocardiography.
Her other major interests include the management of angina, valve disease and heart failure.

Professional profile
Dr Neha Sekhri completed her undergraduate medical degree in India. . She undertook formal cardiology research at Queen Mary University, Westfield and was awarded a PhD for her work on the prognosis of patients presenting with chest pain and angina. This study, which involved the analysis of data from over 10,000 patients has been widely published and has informed national policy decisions.
Her specialist postgraduate training in cardiology was based at Barts Health NHS Trust.
Dr Sekhri was appointed as a Cardiology Consultant to Barts Health NHS Trust in 2012. She is based at The Barts Heart Centre and at Newham University hospital. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London University and University College, London.
She is the clinical lead for the cardiomyopathy service at Barts Health NHS Trust.
