About me

I am Shanta, a therapist and a counselor with 20 years of experience of helping people from all walks of lives.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting lawyers, doctors, engineers and professors suffering stress-related challenges to young adults suffering from trauma from the past and recuperating from drug abuse.

My personal strengths of abilities to listen and understand/empathize have helped me immensely in being there for people over the years. I do not assume or judge those who seek my help.

It is imperative for people in my specialization to stay abreast with the latest research. Lifelong studying, therefore, is a must and a privilege. Over the last two decades, I have been fortunate to have attended workshops by leading specialists from all over the world. I have multiple degrees, certificates, and diplomas from various Universities like the University of London, University of Sheffield as well as industry certifications like those from UKCR, etc.

I have had a successful stint as a clinical supervisor and a team leader at 'Mind' for the almost 18 years. I have worked with clients from various racial cultural backgrounds for their mental health needs and managed a team of up to 10 counselors. I currently practice in multiple locations in London.
