About me

I am a Consultant Cardiologist dealing with all aspects of general cardiology but with a particular interest in advanced cardiovascular imaging and non-invasive diagnostics. I undertook general medical training in Bristol before moving to Birmingham for my specialist training in cardiology.

Research interests

British Heart Foundation Research Fellow for 2 years and National Institute for Health Research Fellow for 6 months investigating aortic valve disease. Currently Principal Investigator (PI) for Easy-AS study in aortic stenosis.

Personal interests

I enjoy playing tennis, cycling and music, including playing the guitar.

Awards received

British Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Investigators Award 2011 runner-up.
Finalist (the only one from the UK) in the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Early Career Award 2011.
