About me
I obtained my initial general medical and gastroenterology training in UK. I then spent some years abroad and completed my gastroenterology training after returning to UK in 2003.
I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Basildon Hospital since 2011 and have extensive experience in inflammatory bowel disease (this includes supervising IBD MDT and IBD clinics as I am the IBD Lead at Basildon Hospital) and IBS. I am a bowel cancer screening Programme accredited colonoscopist and am the Clinical Director for the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (South Essex).I also run the Capsule Endoscopy service at BTUH.
