Miss Kaushik's main clinical interests are modern management of benign breast conditions and breast cancer surgery. She has gained experience in surgical procedures such as skin sparing and nipple sparing mastectomies with immediate reconstruction, breast reconstruction techniques with implants and latissimus dorsi flaps (immediate and delayed), therapeutic mammoplasties, symmetrisation procedures including breast augmentation and reduction, nipple reconstruction, sentinel lymph node biopsy, re-do breast surgery and risk reducing breast surgery

Research interests

Miss Kaushik is actively engaged in local and national research trials. Her main interests are - neoadjuvant therapy in breast cancer, hormonal treatment, predictive and prognostic markers in breast cancer and improving surgical outcomes in oncoplastic breast surgery.

Personal interests

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing badminton.

I am currently Research Lead for the department and responsible for the educational development of the junior doctors and am the Deputy Educational Lead for the clinical management group (CMG).
