About me

Dr Naqvi (winner of Asian woman of the year award) is an experienced paediatric cardiologist who cares for children of all ages (babies, children and teenagers) with heart related problems. She provides a comprehensive diagnostic service including echocardiography, ECG, 24 hour ambulatory ECG monitoring, exercise testing including Cardio-Pulmonary MVO2 Exercise testing. Patients are seen as a one stop assessment. If a child is found to require cardiac surgery Dr Naqvi works with some of the best paediatric cardiac surgeons in the world.

In 2019 Dr Naqvi won a top national accolade (NatWest Asian Woman Of Achievement Chairman's Award) being congratulated by the prime minister, also appearing as an inspiring leader in the national press (Financial Times, Daily Telegraph, Evening Standard, BBC). She has featured on the iconic big screen in Piccadilly Circus.

Nitha Naqvi qualified from Guy's and St. Thomas's Medical School, London with honours and a first class Bsc, She underwent postgraduate training in London including working at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guys and St Thomas's hospitals, UCLH and the Royal Marsden. She completed a MSc at The Institute Of Child Health and was awarded the Young Investigator Prize at the British Congenital Cardiac Association. She has also received the Royal Society Of Medicine Paediatric Prize and GSK fellowship. She works as a fully trained paediatric cardiology consultant at the Royal Brompton Hospital where she is Director of the Paediatric Cardiology Network.
