About me
I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, treating patients with everything from sports injuries to arthritis and joint replacement.
My practice covers the full pathway of care � from diagnosis and non-surgical management through to advanced keyhole surgery and joint replacement � with a focus on choosing the right treatment for each individual.
I have a particular interest in hip and knee preservation surgery, including treatment of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), ACL reconstruction, and meniscal and cartilage surgery. Many of these procedures can be performed as day cases, helping patients recover quickly and return to normal activity.
Alongside this, I perform high volumes of hip and knee replacement using well-established, proven implants. Where appropriate, I offer partial joint replacement and bone-preserving options, but always with the priority of selecting the operation that will give the best long-term outcome.
I trained in the UK and completed a specialist fellowship at the University of Toronto, gaining extensive experience in joint replacement and soft tissue knee surgery. My background also includes complex trauma surgery, giving me a broad and practical approach to managing hip and knee problems.
My aim is to provide clear advice, efficient treatment, and excellent outcomes � helping patients return to an active and pain-free life as quickly and safely as possible.
