About me
I am a BACP senior accredited Psychotherapist /Counsellor . I am also senior accredited with The National Counselling Society . My original training was in person centred counselling and I find this ethos underpinning all of my work, especially when working on an emotional level with my clients, I went on to train post Graduate CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT). I practice both short and long term counselling regularly reviewing goals along the way, often with short term work I have found that solution based theory is most beneficial. I am an accredited bereavement counsellor, I have also worked with D.A.C.S which deals with domestic abuse and violence so have specialist training in this area along with anger management training.
