About me

Farrokh Pakzad is an established UK trained surgical oncologist with a dedicated interest in Oncoplastic Breast and Skin Cancer surgery.

He joined the team at Royal Surrey County Hospital in 2012 and is currently the clinical lead for skin cancer surgery. Previously, he held positions as the clinical director of breast and unit and chair of the Network Specialist Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary team.

He completed his higher surgical training in London, during which he was selected onto the highly competitive National Oncoplastic Fellowship program. This unique background in both plastic and oncological surgery enables him to provide he most effective treatments for both breast and skin cancer, while minimising the impact of surgery on cosmetic and functional outcomes.

He works within a expert multidisciplinary team, incorporating state of the art diagnostics and treatment of breast cand skin cancer.

Mr Pakzad has a wide and active academic interest in cancer biology, stemming back to his undergraduate training. He completed his post graduate M.D. thesis in molecular imaging of cancer and continues to be involved in both translational and clinical research.

Mr Pakzad is married with 3 young sons. He enjoys playing tennis and basketball. He is fluent in Farsi and English.
