About me
I am a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and was appointed at the Royal United Hospital Bath in 2012. Prior to my appointment in Bath I undertook an advanced laparoscopic and pelvic floor surgery fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand. Since my appointment I have performed over 400 colorectal resections, and regularly perform advanced laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer. I am also fully trained in pelvic floor surgery in which I have a specialist interest. I also have significant experience in managing benign anorectal conditions such as haemorrhoids. I also perform laparoscopic and open surgery for abdominal wall hernias. I am also a skilled colonoscopist. I always strive to offer my patients the most up to date and evidence based procedures.
Areas of interest
Colorectal cancer; Inflammatory Bowel Disease; Pelvic floor disorders; Rectal prolapse; Haemorrhoids; Colonoscopy; Abdominal wall hernias
