About us

Laurence Smith has been registered with the General Osteopathic Council since 2008 after completing four years training full time at the Surrey Institute Osteopathic Medicine.
He has practiced in London, Surrey and Monaco. He is the Principle practitioner at Ashford Osteopathy and has also been treating patients at the Royal Automobile Club since 2012.
Laurence has continued his professional development by ‎completing post graduate courses in tissue repair and electrotherapy, proprioceptive strapping and cranial sacral therapy.
Also a Swimming Coach, Laurence has trained to apply the Alexander technique to the principles of swimming, particularly with adults. Patients can expect to be given stretches and exercises to promote better alignment. His professional and warm demeanor helps identify his patients discomfort using his diagnostic and Osteopathic techniques.
With a healthy appetite for exercise, Laurence utilizes the same enthusiasm to promote his patients recovery.
Laurence Smith is registered with GOSC and the Institute of Osteopathy.
