About me

I completed my specialist training in general internal medicine and Geriatric medicine on the North west London SPR rotation before taking up a Substantive Consultant role as a Consultant Geriatrician with an Interest in Stroke medicine at University College London and North Middlesex University Hospitals.
I moved to West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2014 as the Trust Clinical Lead for Stroke overseeing an expansion in Consultant workforce and significant improvement in the Trust’s Stroke performance.
I have multiple areas of interests including all aspects of general and geriatric medicine, assessment of the older adult with complex medical problems, Stroke and Transient ischaemic attacks.
I am a member of the British association of Stroke Physicians and also a Royal College of Physicians Representative.
I have been the Clinical Director for the medicine for the elderly and stroke directorate in West Hertfordshire Hospital NHS Trust since October 2020.

stroke in young adults;all aspects of general and geriatric medicine; stroke and transient ischaemic attacks/mini strokes; funny turns/dizzy spells; peri operative assessments; hypertension and heart failure in older patients; memory impairment and dementia.
