About me

I am an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council.

In addition to my Doctorate training in Clinical Psychology, I have had formal training in a variety of evidence based therapies and feel strongly that each individual's difficulties should be addressed in a collaborative and compassionate way, using therapies which have been proven to work and which are based on excellent research outcomes.

In my NHS leadership role as Consultant Clinical Psychologist in West Sussex, I have been heavily involved in training and supervising others in CBT and other therapies. I am also accredited in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and have been trained in EMDR which is a very effective therapy for working with trauma and PTSD. In addition, I also use schema therapy, mindfulness and other more integrative psychotherapy approaches.

I enjoy working across the age range with adults, adolescents and children.

In addition to therapy across the age range, I also provide regular teaching and lecturing to Child Psychotherapists in London as part of a Postgraduate Certificate Course in CBT for Children and Young People.

I also deliver stress management workshops for employers in the NHS and other organisations.

I provide supervision privately and have obtained a Post Graduate Certificate from the University of Surrey in Clinical Supervision.
