About me
Mr Evans undertook undergraduate training at Southampton Medical School. His early surgical training was undertaken in Wessex. He then returned home to Wales and completed higher surgical training on the all Wales general surgical training scheme in 2011. Following award of the certificate of completion of training he undertook further specialist fellowships in laparoscopic colorectal surgery at the John Goligher Colorectal Unit Leeds and with the advanced pelvic oncology group in Swansea.
He is the Bowel Cancer Initiative Lead for Wales, is an Honorary Associate Professor of Surgery at Swansea Medical School and an Editor of the BJS journal (formally known as the British Journal of Surgery).
