About me
I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the evaluation and treatment of spinal disorders and medico-legal reports for the spine. I no longer perform surgical procedures concentrating on assessment and nonoperative pain control. The majority of cases are treated in conjunction with the patient's physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropracter. Those patients who are in too much pain can undergo targetted injections to reduce the symptoms to allow physical therapy to take place.
On a personal level I am married with three boys who are starting their own careers in law and business. I spend my time at weekends with my family and their children having moved from France and now living in Hampshire.
Areas of interest
One stop clinics for consultation; investigation and review. Low back pain; lumbar spine and sciatica; and non-operative pain control techniques. Cervical spine non-operative pain control treatments. Scans and x-rays explained to and discussed with patients. Working closely with patient's physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Chiropracters. I provide further education for allied professions. I am Deputy Editor of the journal International Orthopaedics and examiner in Orthopaedics for SICOT.
