About me

Do you need specialist help with anxiety, stress or mood probIems?

I am accredited as a therapist and supervisor by the BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy) and have practised for over twenty years in a range of services. I draw on my wide-ranging experience and training to determine the best approach to suit your individual needs and situation so that I can help you improve your life.

As a CBT Therapist I will aim to to help you to not only understand your difficulties, but to actively work towards making changes, using evidence-based therapeutic interventions within a warm and non-judgmental relationship.

If helpful I will also integrate elements from different therapeutic approaches such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) or Compassion-focused Therapy in my work.

Furthermore, I am a qualified and accredited EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapist and draw on my extensive experience of offering therapy in the NHS to those with (Complex) PTSD.

Please note that I offer CBT to adults over the age of 18 only.
