About me
Dr Rahman Haley grew up in Lancashire and left the North of England in 1989 to study medical sciences at Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge. After graduating, she trained as a doctor at the University of Cambridge Clinical School, Addenbrooke's Hospital. After completing general medical training in hospitals in and around Cambridge, she spent a year at Royal Papworth Hospital in cardiology before moving to Royal Brompton Hospital, London to undertake a period of research for a thesis on the effects of gender on image quality and interpretation in myocardial perfusion SPECT and cardiac MRI.
Dr Rahman Haley then completed cardiology training including advanced training in Echocardiography, Cardiac MRI, and nuclear ccardiology, along with developing a special interest in heart valve disease and cardio-oncology.
She was appointed to Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals as a consultant in non-interventional cardiology and cardiac imaging in 2007.
