About me

I have been working in this field for nearly 30 years initially qualifying at Liverpool University in 1997 and continuing to study to further my qualifications and practice.
After working in mental health as a social worker I gained my qualifications as a Psychotherapist in 2002 where I began my work with abused children and young people as a trauma therapist.
I then completed my EMDR training in 2010 alongside attending Edge Hill University to complete my CBT MSc training.
I have worked across the age ranges from age 3 to age 88 and across many presentations.
I have worked for Local Authorities, NHS and also for Charitable Organisations again across the age ranges.
My current work is with adults with presentations such as anxiety and depression, neurodiversity, PTSD, bereavement issues etc and I predominantly use EMDR, trauma focussed CBT, CBT and integrative psychotherapy to help treat my patients back to wellness.
At present I am limited in what day I can offer treatment to a Thursday.
