About me

Mr Mahmood's training culminated in Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery from Ulster University and Royal College of Ophthalmologists with commendation and a two-year Retina and Uveitis Fellowships at University Hospital of Cambridge and Moorfields Eye Hospital, working under world renowned consultants.
During this time, he gained broad experience in the management of all Medical Retina and Uveitis disorders and developed a particular expertise in managing patients with these conditions in and around cataract surgery.

Areas of interest

Mr Mahmood has broad training and experience in managing the entire breadth of Medical Retina and Uveitis conditions in addition to general eye conditions including glaucoma.

His areas of expertise include Retinal Vein Occlusions, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Uveitis, Glaucoma, Ophthalmic Primary care and Cataract Surgery using toric and multifocal intra-ocular lenses.
Mr Mahmood is ideally suited to offer patients the very latest treatments.
