About me

I have worked in the NHS for over 30 years as a Clinical Psychologist in Child and Family Services; this includes Child and Family Consultation Settings (CAMHS) and numerous large Children's Hospital's / University Teaching Hospitals. I have a special interest and expertise in Paediatrics, working with families where a child or young person has been diagnosed with a physical illness and / or is suffering with chronic persistent physical symptoms. I can work using numerous different evidence based therapeutic approaches and do so according to the child and families needs. I can offer families an initial consultation session to help them explore and make sense of the difficulties they face and that their child is experiencing and consider with them different options and interventions to address these .
