About me
I qualified as a BACP registered counsellor in 2003 following a career in business and retail management. I have undertaken a wide range of counselling work, including the establishment of a counselling service for adolescents at two schools. I am multi-lingual and am able to conduct sessions in French, Spanish and Turkish for clients who would feel more comfortable speaking in those languages. Most of my clients complete their therapy treatments having achieved the goals which we establish at the time of the initial assessment. Generally these goals are framed in terms of acceptance of a condition or event, improvement in confidence and self esteem and being better able to manage their relationships and working and their social life..
