About me

I implant simple and complex pace makers and defibrillators. I started the implantation of subcutaneous defibrillators at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre. As an interventional cardiac electrophysiologist, I offer ablation treatment for patients with cardiac rhythm abnormalities such as supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia (VT), atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardia and for accessory pathways. I also have a specialist interest in treating patients with blackouts.

I qualified in India and was trained in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at the University Hospitals Birmingham, University Hospitals Stoke on Trent and University Hospital Leicester. I was appointed to the Lancashire Cardiac Centre in 2010 and have played an important role in developing a cutting edge interventional cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmia service.

I have published papers on cardiac pacing in patients with heart failure.
