About me
The scope of practice of a podiatric surgeon is pathology of the foot and its associated structures.
Suzanne Taylor is a leading Consultant Podiatric Surgeon in the UK. This consultant qualified as a Podiatrist in 1990 at La Sainte Union College in Southampton with clinical distinction, and has been committed to lifelong learning throughout her career. She is the Clinical Advisor to the Royal College of Podiatry.
Her career in Podiatric Medicine exceeds 33 years working across the local community in South East London, Sussex and Kent in both NHS and Private Practice. She took up post as a Consultant in Foot Health at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich in 2010, when appointed Allied Health Professional Advisor to the Greenwich NHS Trust Board. She was subsequently appointed to Clinical Director for Greenwich and Bexley Community Services until 2015. Ms Taylor held a substantive NHS post as Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Sussex NHS Trust until 2021, and now works part time for Essex Partnership NHS Trust.
She practices independently at several excellent private Hospitals.
A s a leader in the foot health field, she specialises in extended scope podiatric medicine & podiatric surgery. As a registered tutor of the Royal College of Podiatry, and as the Dean of The Faculty of Podiatric Surgery (2017-2022), she takes great pride in coaching and inspiring young people to embark on a career in podiatric surgery.
She sees children and adults with a wide range of foot problems, including bunions, skin lesions, heel pain, ingrowing toenails, toe problems/ hammer toes, neuroma, and recurring foot pain.

The childrens foot clinic has a team of paediatric nurses, physiotherapists, and Consultant Anaesthetists at Chelsfield Park Hospital.
