Dr Elaine Hoey qualified with a degree in Podiatry in 2007 from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, having previously gained a PhD in scientific research. Following this she worked at a leading sports injury clinic in Scotland where clients included the Scottish and Edinburgh Rugby teams, Premiership footballers, and Commonwealth Games athletes. She also worked with the Scottish Institute for Sport.
