About me

Dr Lim is a dynamic innovative cardiologist and electrophysiologist who is currently actively researching the best techniques for treatment of arrhythmias, including mapping and ablation of atrial fibrillation and developing novel therapies for treatment of vasovagal syncope.

Dr Lim has been featured on BBC's Diagnosis Detectives as an expert Cardiologist in 2021, and also featured in BBC Radio 4 program Vital Signs in 2022. He is an author of the Penguin Life Expert Book "Keeping Your Heart Healthy".

During the unprecedented time of Covid-19 escalation Dr Lim continues to provide his excellent service and offers video/telephone consultations with same day appointments available if required.

Dr Lim currently leads the Imperial Syncope Diagnostic Unit, which performs over 800 tilts per year, and treats patients with syncope and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. He is also a clinical electrophysiologist based at Harley Street in central London and at the Cromwell Hospital and performs procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and ablation for arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and supraventricular tachycardias (SVT).

Dr Lim graduated from Cambridge University with a Double First Class Degree in 2000, and was awarded MRCP in 2003. He undertook junior medical training at top Central London Hospitals including Kings College London and the Royal Brompton Hospital, before commencing Cardiology training at Oxford and Northwest London at St Mary’s and Hammersmith Hospitals.
