About me
I’ve accumulated a huge experience in all the anaesthetic aspects of cardiac surgery. I’ve got a long experience in cardiac anaesthesia, in scheduled, urgent and emergency procedures. In Italy, during my 17 years consultant job, I’ve performed more than 2,000 cardiac procedures as an anaesthetist, and I treated more than 3,500 patients in adult post-cardiac surgery intensive care unit. In the UK I did more than 700 procedures according with my daily updated logbook; several of those cases are thoracic. I’m confident on off-pump CABG, minimally invasive direct CABG, mitral valve repair, aortic valve homograft replacement, ascending aorta and arch surgery, minimally invasive mitral valve repair/replacement, percutaneous PFO closure and percutaneous aortic valve replacement
