About me

I am a specialist knee surgeon covering soft tissue injuries, knee trauma, knee pain and arthritis. I have a special interest in sports related knee conditions, ligament reconstructions and revision knee surgery as well as knee joint replacement.

In addition, I have several regional and national roles in surgical education and service delivery. I hold the position of Honorary Professor in the School of Health Sciences, University of Salford and I am clinical lead for the restructuring of orthopaedic and trauma services across Greater Manchester.

I am Vice-President of the British Orthopaedic Association and will become President in September 2018
