About us
Recognising the growing challenges in speech therapy due to reductions in provisions, I founded Unlocking Language to offer an effective, timely alternative for both adults and children. We currently have over 40 therapists.
I work with a broad spectrum of clients, from children and teenagers to adults. Among my clients, I have had the privilege to serve royalty, corporate leaders, and diplomats. As a medico-legal expert, my specialisations include adult acquired communication and swallowing disorders. I also extend my services to children with developmental language delays and have a keen interest in assisting adults with voice and speech challenges.
My expertise stems from my experiences at premier institutions such as the Wellington Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, and the Afasic Charity. I'm proud to have pioneered a groundbreaking youth project for those with SLCN, which I led for nearly a decade. Additionally, I've contributed to academic research and have spoken at numerous conferences, underscoring the essential needs and innovative solutions for individuals with social-communication disorders.
