About me
Mr Lowrie graduated in medicine from The University of Edinburgh in 1999 with honours having won prizes in anatomy and surgery. He trained in Plastic Surgery at the prestigious units in Newcastle upon Tyne, Manchester and Canniesburn in Glasgow. He completed advanced Fellowships in Hand Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery and furthered his experience through visits to top centres in the USA, Canada, Europe and India. Mr Lowrie holds the UK Diploma in Hand Surgery.
Mr Lowrie has worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Tayside and Fife since 2012. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery and a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He specialises in Hand Surgery, Skin Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery. He is the author of numerous scientific papers, the Clinical Governance Lead for Plastic Surgery and a supervisor of Training Plastic Surgeons.
