About me

I graduated from Leeds Medical School with honours in 2000. Following basic surgical training I was appointed to the to the Yorkshire orthopaedic training program in 2005. I was awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010 and was added to the Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2011.
I undertook 2 fellowships during this period. In 2011 I worked with Nick London in Harrogate gaining expertise in all aspects of knee surgery including partial knee replacements in particular, and in 2012 prior to my appointment at Calderdale I undertook an arthroplasty fellowship in York specialising in all forms of knee and hip replacement.

Young adult knee pain; Treatment of cartilage / meniscal injury including repair; Arthroscopic knee surgery; Treatment of knee arthritis using Partial / Unicompartmental Knee replacement where possible; Total knee replacement; Hip replacement
