About me
I am a BACP accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, trained in the psychodynamic approach. I am also trained and experienced in Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT) and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). As well as my private practice in the London EC1, where I see people with a wide range of different issues, I currently work in an NHS specialist psychotherapy service where I see out patients with a range of difficulties, some of them complex. Before this I worked for eleven years in an NHS Eating Disorders Service in North London with inpatients, outpatients and Day Patients and an IAPT Service in East London where I offered short-term psychodynamic therapy. I have experience of working with a wide diversity of backgrounds and areas of difficulty.
I practise in the City of London in a peaceful and confidential space to explore and develop a deeper understanding of your difficulties and patterns of relating. I do not offer solutions, but in our work together help you to find your own through greater awareness and understanding, and a growing ability to think and reflect on your experience. I also offer sessions online.
I work with individuals on a once-weekly basis, and I offer open-ended and time-limited therapy. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place at the same time and place each week.
