About me
Mr Tomasz Graja is a Consultant Breast, Hernia and General Surgeon practicing in West Dorset. He graduated from medical university in Poland in 1992, and went on to further training in France, the United States and the United Kingdom. He completed his PhD on the quality of life for breast cancer patients in 2005, and settled in the United Kingdom soon afterwards.
Mr Graja's practice is mostly focus on breast and hernia surgery.
As a Hernia Surgeon Mr Graja offers wide range of surgical techniques to repair inguinal, umbilical, femoral, Spigelian, ventral and various incisional defects. He is mostly focused on open rather than laparoscopic techniques which he considers as safest, reliable and successful in the long-term.
Over the last decade, breast surgery has become Mr Graja's subspecialty of special interest. In particular, he is committed to achieve the optimal cosmetic outcome using oncoplastic techniques for breast cancer. He trained at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, as well as at The Moffitt Cancer Centre in Tampa, Florida.
Mr Graja performs all sort of minor general surgery like excision of lipoma, sebaceous cysts, skin lesions etc.
