About me

Dr Dev Shah is Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon.
He is a leading specialist in Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma.
Dr Shah has an empathetic, patient-centred approach. He works collaboratively with you to find the best and most appropriate treatment for you, ensuring that you receive an outstanding service.
His success is reflected from patients and staff feedback.
Dr Shah graduated from The University of Leicester in 2002 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees, attained a Membership of the Royal College of
Physicians in 2005. He is a member of the British Association of Dermatological
Surgeons, British Association of Dermatology and General Medical Council.
Dr Shah enjoys research; he has an interest in how immune cells affect patients with eczema. He has worked with the Cardiff Microneedle team with the aim of finding a role for microneedles in treating skin conditions.
He regularly teaches consultants, junior doctors, and nurses. He has received the Trust Level 2 award for going beyond the care and duties expected of a consultant. He is a regular spokesperson for the British Association of Dermatologists and British Skin Foundation and is featured on a television programme - Skin A&E on Channel 5.
