About us

Dr Kennedy qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2001 and established an independent practice in 2007. The Speech Clinic offers private therapy to children and adults with a range of difficulties, including late talkers, language delay, autism spectrum difficulties and Learning Disability, stammer (stutter), acquired/traumatic brain injury, stroke, voice difficulties (following ENT assessment) and neuro-degenerative conditions. Dr Kennedy has worked for the NHS as Principal SLT in Complex Paediatrics, and independently with children and adults with acquired brain injury within inpatient and outpatient settings.

Areas of interest

Acquired (traumatic) brain injury, including cerebral palsy - paediatric and adult; Stroke (paediatric and adult); Voice (following ENT assessment); Paediatric speech and language impairments; Adult neuro-degenerative conditions.
