About me
Dr Andrea Shortland is a Chartered Psychologist, Registered as a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, with extensive experience working in Social Care, the NHS, Prison Service and the independent sector.
Dr Shortland's main area of work is working with trauma, anxiety and bereavement in both adults and children.
She also specialises in general child and family work with a particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of attachment and trauma difficulties in children; and parental difficulties including birth trauma and other parenting issues.
Dr Shortland is trained in a range of therapies including EMDR, CBT, family work, and solution focused therapy.
