About me
Dr. Desai is a consultant in cardiology at University Hospital Birmingham, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Edgbaston Birmingham for last 15 years. After obtaining MRCP(UK), he completed cardiology training in high volume centres in London and West Midlands. He holds dual accreditation in GIM & Cardiology and has won several prizes from British Cardiac Society. With his skills and training he was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Edgbaston Birmingham in 2010. He has special interest in the field of heart failure. He is closely involved with University of Birmingham in undergraduate teaching.
With over 30 years experience and with broad interest in the field of cardiology Dr. Desai accepts specialist referrals for
general adult cardiology including heart failure, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and cardiac arrhythmias.
