About me
Ava Katics specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist has over 20 years experience of treating a wide range of physiotherapy problems.
She is a Matrix Movement trainer, an AACP registered acupuncturist with post-graduate qualifications in musculoskeletal manipulative therapy, sports physiotherapy, clinical Pilates and yoga.
Ava worked at an established Harley Street clinic for 5 years and was the lead physiotherapist for professional dance companies. She has worked on numerous productions in the West End and on National and International tours.
Ava began her career in the NHS before moving into the private sector to expand and develop her work in occupational health, corporate and private physiotherapy. Her client list was extensive ranging from the South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue to professional footballers, basketball players and county level athletes.
Ava has extensive experience of treating musculoskeletal conditions from work related disorders and spinal problems to post-operative and sport injury rehabilitation in professional athletes. She draws on her experience of working with professional dancers and athletes to rehabilitate acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries in all individuals.
She likes to get to the root of the problem and provides effective injury treatment to relieve pain and creates exercise programmes to restore muscle balance, improve performance and prevent injury.
