About me

Rachel graduated from Kingston University in 2002 with a 1st class honours degree in Biomedical Science. Her interest in rehabilitative medicine led her onto pursuing further training in this field and ultimately to a Masters in Chiropractic from Anglo European College of Chiropractic. She built on this in private practice in Milton Keynes where she worked with several sportsmen, mainly footballers and more currently with Ironman triathletes.

Working in sports highlights how minor changes in the body can impact dramatically upon performance and general well-being. This reinforces how passionate Rachel is about her chosen career and how important it is for Chiropractic to be available to everyone, especially children, who respond so well to care as they don’t have years of stresses to unravel in the way that adults do.

Rachel’s keen interest in Chiropractic care for pregnancy and paediatrics brought her to the Octagon Clinic in 2008. Working with children is challenging as it is necessary to communicate in a completely different way, this also makes it a real joy. Rachel maintains her interest in sport and exercise, with a particular passion for cycling. She regularly lectures to Yoga and Pilates instructors in regards to anatomy, preganancy and child development.

Rachel moved to Sussex in 2014, however continued to commute to London. In 2016 she took the plunge and left her busy practice behind to build a new venture in Sussex, a great decision and a beautiful place to live.
