About me
Pete underwent his specialist orthopaedic training on the highly regarded Oswestry training programme during which he developed a sub specialist interest in surgery around the knee. He was fortunate enough to train under Dai Rees and the sports injuries team in Oswestry in addition to the knee specialists in both Stoke on Trent and Oswestry. Throughout his training he published papers on general orthopaedics and on specialist knee topics. Following completion of his specialist training he underwent fellowship knee training in Sheffield England and undertook a travelling fellowship supported by the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) in Europe visiting centres of excellence in knee surgery.
Now 13 years into subspecialist knee practice at RJAH in Oswestry he runs a complex knee practice specialising in sports injuries and joint preservation while treating the whole range of knee pathology. He and his colleagues at RJAH run a successful fellowship program helping with training the next generation of specialist knee surgeons.
