About me

I have been a Consultant in Newcastle since 2009. I have developed special interest in reconstructive paediatric urology and run the wetting services along with the urology specialist nurses. I look after children with groin pathology such as undescended testis, hernia and foreskin problems and hypospadias. I also offer minimally invasive alternative to patients requiring paediatric urological procedures. I manage complex patients such as cloaca and neuropathic bladders.

I have published extensively in peer reviewed journals on various paediatric surgical topics. I am an examiner for the Royal college of Surgeons and educational supervisor for the Higher Surgical Trainees; two Core surgical Trainees. I am full member of the British association of Paediatric urologists.
