About me
I graduated in 1997, and completed my general medical training and specialist training in both Gastroenterology and General Medicine around Yorkshire. I subsequently completed a PhD at Manchester University focusing on nutrition and appetite control and have published and presented my research at both National and International conferences.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the University Hospital of South Manchester (Wythenshawe Hospital) where I am the current Clinical Director of Gastroenterology. I have broad and extensive experience in all aspects of gastroenterology with a particular interest in clinical nutrition, inflammatory bowel disease and endoscopy. I am also involved in the training of both medical students and junior doctors and am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester.
I aim to provide a safe, efficient and thorough care to all my patients.
