P.G. Roy is a Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals and Associate Professor in Nuffield Department of Surgical sciences, University of Oxford. She also serves as a Clinical Director for Cancer at Oxford University Hospitals.
Prof. Roy is highly regarded worldwide as an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with experience in management of breast diseases and cosmetic breast surgery. The consultations are carried out in a calm, friendly atmosphere with an endeavour to achieve outcomes best suited to the individual.
Prof. Roy has introduced and established a high quality oncoplastic unit for treatment of breast cancer in Oxford, with active engagement in clinical trials and research. She offers private consultations at The Manor Hospital, Oxford and Genesis Care, Oxford.
She offers specialist surgical techniques to patients with breast cancer that includes partial and total breast reconstruction to optimise the oncological and aesthetic outcomes. She is a tutor in oncoplastic breast surgery and teaches on national and international forums and courses. Her focus is to spread awareness about breast conservation and has a large series on partial breast reconstruction, a topic she has published and taught widely.
Prof Roy also undertakes breast cosmetic procedures including breast reduction, breast lift, breast augmentation, implant removal or exchange, surgery for male breast enlargement.
Her focus is on holistic care and is a founder trustee of Breast cancer patient support group, Oxford Breast Buddy Group providing psychological and emotional support to those affected by breast cancer.
