About me
Dr Halliday is a Clinical psychologist with over twenty years experience of working with adults and adolescents with psychological distress. She is the co-founder of The Clinical Psychology Practice in Hale and is employed by the NHS as a Principal Clinical Psychologist.
On completion of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Manchester University, Dr Halliday worked within the NHS offering psychological therapy to adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, exam stress, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic, phobias, relationship problems, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive compulsive disorder.
She then went on to specialise in working with individuals with eating disorders including over-eating and body image issues.
She is currently employed as the Principal Clinical Psychologist within a general hospital where she specialises in the psychological assessment of individuals with physical health problems.
