As a Consultant since 1988, I have wide experience of General Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Hepatology, Clinical Nutrition and General Medicine. I have previously been Clinical Director for Medicine at Barts Health, Director of the North East Thames Foundation School (directing the training of more than 700 newly qualified doctors) and Censor (Senior Officer ) of the Royal College of Physicians of London, and the National Clinical Director for GI and Liver Diseases within NHS England
