About me
Mr Oliver qualified from St Georges Hospital Medical School in 1998. He trained in the generality of Orthopaedics on the renowned South East Thames Orthopaedic Rotation and successfully attained the FRCS exam in 2009. He travelled overseas to the University of Calgary for a year long Joint Reconstruction Fellowship specialising in hip and knee arthroplasty. Whilst in Canada he attained a Diploma in Medical Education. Upon return he was appointed as a full time consultant at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust in 2010. He has strong interests in Medical Education and Training. He is a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon with excellent outcomes as evidenced in the National Joint Registry. His interests are enhanced recovery from hip and knee replacements and robotic assisted knee replacements. He also offers state of the art non-operative treatment for knee arthritis. He is married, has 2 children and 2 dogs all of which enjoy sport and the great outdoors.
