About me
I am a dedicated, experienced, empathetic and focused child, adolescent, adult and family psychotherapist, child, adolescent and family psychologist, counsellor, and sand play therapist who has worked with clients for many years. I am also an adoption and attachment expert working alongside local authority social workers, mental health practitioners and children/adults and families. Additionally, I am a trainer and clinical supervisor.
I am dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of my clients. I provide a conducive and safe therapeutic environment which enables my clients to feel safe, heard, supported, valued, respected, and nurtured.
I hold a Ph.D. in Psychology with specialisation in Educational Psychology, MA in Child, Adolescent and Family Psychotherapy as well as other counselling qualifications including EMDR. I am also trained in Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule Second Edition (ADOS-2) and Attachment Styles Interview (ASI-Adolescents & ASI-Adults). In addition, I am an approved British Psychological Society (BPS) Educational Test Assessor.
Also, I am an adoption and attachment psychotherapist approved and commissioned by various local Authorities (LAs) to work with families of adoption. I am Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) informed therapist. I am also registered with BACP (MAccredited), UKCP, UKRCP Registered, American Psychological Association (APA) International Affiliate, EMDR Europe Registered, and British Psychological Society Affiliate.
