About me
Undergraduate medical training at Queen's University Belfast (MB, BCh, BAO 1989)
Postgraduate specialist training in General Practice (MRCGP 1993) followed by Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MRCOG 1997 FRCOG 2009) in Northern Ireland. I then undertook a period of research in urogynaecology in Manchester and an RCOG approved subspecialty training programme in urogynaecology, including further research for my MD, in Newcastle upon Tyne (2000-2004)
My first consultant appointment was as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Urogynaecologist at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh (2004-2011) before moving to my current post at Belfast City Hospital in 2011.
I had the honour and privilege of chairing the UK Continence Society annual scientific meeting in Belfast in 2016.
